Group Meeting No. 8

Another week has passed on dream collection and we now have a bigger bank than ever. Some people in our group do not dream and based on our research it is due to possible stress and sleep quality. This is why we had to give another week to collect dreams. Some had nightmares which is also gathered into our data.

An interesting occurrence has happened in our data collection. Shuang and Atlanta has a continuous dream. Almost as if they are dreaming of the same thing but in different perspective.

According to Atlanta’s dream the scenario was the group was doing a presentation and Shuang was presenting. She was wearing a red jumper in her dream. On the other hand, Shuang’s dream is about coming into a classroom about to present in front of the class. Again, she was wearing a red jumper. Jin, Daniel and Vlad’s dreams also had relation to each other. During one of our discussions “cowboy” was mentioned and they all dreamt of something related to that word. Jin dreamt of a chinese cowboy, Daniel dreamt of a western cowboy and Vlad dreamt of being in the Wild West where the cowboys are.

We found that really fascinating!!!

After three weeks of dream collecting, we finally found proof that communal dreaming does work! When two or more people experience the same thing, they may dream of the same dream. We are now quite confident that the data we have but still unclear with the outcome. However, outcome ideas are thrown during discussion but nothing appeals to us as viable yet.
