Group Meeting No. 13

Immediately after the practice proposal, we had to make some slight changes to our project. Below are the key feedback during the session:

The project is too complex and it needs refinementThey wanted us to set up the installation as an experience and think about entry and exit points. The experience starts from the moment you enter the space. The process film needs to be done.The group went over time and therefore the presentation needs refinement.

As a response, we would like to tackle each feedback one by one. The first is the refinement of the complex project. It relates to feedback 2. The reason why our project is not refine is because the 360 video failed to play. Second, the structure of our presentation is not as clear as we would like it to be therefore the project came out as complex and unclear. We decided to accommodate these feedback. We wanted to bring speakers next time because this will enhance the audio that we have edited. It will create that response effect, sounds coming from different speakers. We also wanted to play with the ambience of the whole installation by playing with mood lights. We have reached to Eleanor about setting up the exhibition either earlier or a day before. Rent out motion capture rooms to really set up the mood. Unfortunately we were not granted these privileges for the space and so we sought out for Plan B. That is to take advantage of the presentation space as an experience by using, lights and speakers to enhance the experience. The VR headset will be place on top of the box so the audience can freely look at the 360 video which represents what happens inside the machine.
