Group Meeting No. 12

One Week has passed and the group has been an overall productive. Everyone had task to do in order to contribute to the final outcome. Everyone has content to show. A mock up of the box has been created for the test presentation. A mock up of the audio has been prepared as well. The 360 video will be shown initially without the render. Everyone was excited because finally the group is seeing a promising outcome. However, a small detail was changed and that is about the visuals in the installation. Initially the group wanted visuals to complement the audio response of the input and output. There was a question raised which is “When the audience comes to the installation, they cannot read two things at the same time. Is it necessary to have visuals and text projected on both ends of the box?” We had to make another change. We decided to remove the visuals completely and refine the experience by simplifying it. This is because it makes the audience focus more on what’s happening inside the box which is the 360 film rather than two projectors representing input and output as well as the 360 film. The aim is for our audience to experience the 360 film whilst hearing the back and forth responses on the background. The practice presentation is 3 days away and we had to make a quick refinement which actually turned out a lot better because the outcome was clearer.
