After submitting the proposal, we decided to meet again to finally share the collected dreams within each other and see how we can develop further. The objective is to find images or objects that represent our dream and the group will assume what the dream is about. They will also assume how that object reflect our identity.

We discovered a lot of interesting facts within each other. Dreams are quite intimate and to share them with a group of people usually takes a lot of courage especially the weird dreams. We found out that when picking pictures to represent our dreams, we saw some of us had a very distinct aesthetic which reflects something about their identity. For example, Luis gathered images in almost a midnight green/blackish tone and those pictures came from two dreams combined. Does that mean our dreams have style as well? For Atlanta’s dream there is always a common theme which is sci fi fiction, almost like a cinematic comic universe. Also there were themes of violence in her dream but she is not a violent person? What does this say about her identity? She stated that she plays a lot of video games and some of those themes are violent and may be reflected through dreams.

We learned that we needed to keep gathering more dreams because we started to see that dreams do reflect our identity at a certain extended and in the end we can even involve more people into the circle.
