Today, The group had a deep discussion about the theme: Dreams
This was a continuation of the unit’s discussion with Indira Knight.
“How did our dreams come about? Whatever behaviours we have in our dream, is that our identity?”
We have two to five dreams every night, and these dreams we may forget, some may be remembered. When we wake up, does this identity still exist? We have gathered to come up with as many ideas as we can. One idea is that we can record our dreams to monitor brain waves at night. Another is to describe an event or story about our day and see whether it can impact our dreams at night. The aim of this is to use outside influences such as people, events, environment etc. to influence how we dream. Changes in routine may or may not affect the outcome of your dreams. The sprint was then made again to formulate ideas to address how we will approach our theme as well as raise any questions about the topic. Again the highest vote wins.
The highest vote idea:
Use dreams to exchange our identity by creating a dream game. We can formulate a game which has a lot of different items involved. These items comes from our dream. The audience can pick one to represent themselves.
Questions raised:
> How do we include the audience in our presentation.
> How does the game work?
> What are the rules of the game
> What does the audience gain out of it.
With this idea and questions in mind, the group is ready to research tackling this topic which will be the next discussion of the group meeting.
