Group Meeting No. 2

For the second meeting, Luis Baez joined the unit. We also met our personal tutor Indira Knight. She has helped us focus on a main subject by doing an activity called “Sprint.” It is an effective way of generating ideas in a short amount of time.

How does it work?

Everyone has a piece of paper folded into four and within two minutes must write four ideas. Then, each of us had to vote out of the four ideas which one we think is the best. From that, a vote from the group will be made.That is the deciding factor of our group’s idea. Most of the ideas have great potential, the one picked is the one that is most interesting. An example of an idea brought forward was Vlad’s . He suggested to build a machine that collects data which then uploads said data into the internet, generating an identity. Another example is Shuang’s idea about dreams. Does the person we become in our dreams our true identity?

In the end, Shuang’s idea had majority of the group’s vote and therefore the unit will proceed with this concept.
